LCF 4 YEAR ANNIVERSARY June 1st
Andy here-
This past year had its trials. LCF held strong, you all made sure of it.
We had a lot of changes in the last 12 months. Some of you may not have seen or felt an impact while others did. Some stuff was behind the scenes and some was front and center. Either way, Kelly and I felt support the entire way. All we know is show up and keep moving.
The community did community things! Throughout the year no matter the season, coaches rallied, members reached out with inspiring and supportive messages. Members volunteered their time and energy in any way they could. We became closer.
Thank you all for the support to get us to another anniversary!
Thank you for being an amazing group of individuals who inspire and support each other and who maintain the culture we have laid a foundation for. It takes effort, persistence and discipline to build culture. Its maintenance takes conscious action. We shared our vision with you as we all met one by one. That vision shines through in actions that I see you all continue to take part in when a new face walks in the door for their first class. It is amazing, I will never loose sight of that.
I know I am really straight forward. I also know I am becoming a better, softer, less rigid version of myself thanks to you all being in my life every day, giving me grace. I learn so much from you. I thank you for helping me grow as a person and I love you for helping the gym grow as it becomes a staple in Clearwater for health, wellness and human connection.
I am looking forward to the next rep around the sun as we sweat, day in and day out.
This is my dream job, I know how blessed I am. Thank you all for another year!
MATT HOTHO

This dude- kind, smart, pretty fit, and a great coach.
Welcome to The Adaptive CrossFit Games for the second year in a row, Mat Hotho!
Today, Wednesday, June 4th. the leaderboard closes after video reviews were completed. At 12:30 our time all athletes who want to appeal any penalties given of their performances must be submitted.
OKAY, look, Mat and I talked about this before hand lol. Bare with me.
These appeals, historically don’t go well for the athlete…It is really fair to say that Mat, despite the rare possibility of an appeal turning in an athletes favor, would have to be so dramatically huge in terms of reallocation of points, for us to even consider Mat getting knocked out of contention for going to the games. We feel damn good.
Mat received 2 no reps across all his performances and he is Officially in 7th place. (To give you an idea on how strict these judges are, I no repped mat 2x in the pull up workout and the judges gave him 2 more (judges after my own heart.) He no repped himself in the wall ball workout even before I could! We are all about the standards.
The top 10 go to the Adaptive Games! Thats us.
*September mid month. VIVA LAS VEGAS BABY!
SERIOUSLY, JOIN US IN VEGAS!
As I was writing this and was sharing it with Mat, he officially received his invitation to the The Adaptive CrossFit Games by WheelWOD! LETS GOOOOO!
Congrat MAT!

COMMUNITY CUP DETAILS
JUNE 9-15
Hey FAM! The Community Cup is a mid year comp that CF is putting out and it runs next week. You can sign up for it IF YOU DID THE OPEN AND SUBMITTED ALL THE SCORES. This is a requirement because you are tested against others near your OPEN standings.
Register here : Community Cup
*YOU will need to find a judge. This is not like the OPEN where we are hosting an event. It is a huge undertaking to host an event like this and takes a lot of volunteers. We want everyone to be able to compete who wants to but we cannot accommodate such an undertaking more than once a year. It puts a large stress on the community and Kel and I to run an event!
We will run the workouts during the week but we are running the week like normal.
We will be closed on the 15th, which is a Sunday. No workouts will happen at LCF this day.
ATHLETES WHO REGISTER will take on the workouts in the order that we program them and they will do them with class.
If you want to do 2 CC workouts on Thursday you can. Saturday 8:15 can be available but you wont take more room than normal.
We will not be making any special accommodations for competing athletes.
